"Times & Places" - Wai-chung Kwan plays Mozart and Mendelssohn in a piano solo recital of the Summer Noon Concert Series.

Did you know the British completed Fort Howe in Saint John in 1778, the same year as Mozart wrote his stormy Piano Sonata in A minor? And did you know that Mendelssohn wrote one of the masterpieces of solo piano literature - "Variations sérieuses" - in 1841, right around the same time as Joseph Casavant (the founder of Casavant Frères which built the fine organ in the church where this concert is going to take place in) received his first contract to build a brand new organ?

Concert venue: Church of St. Andrew & St. David, 164 Germain Street, Uptown Saint John.
Free-will offering. Wheelchair Accessible.
